The UltraClub 8425 Cool & Dry Sport Performance Polo is built on 4 oz 100% micro-polyester interlock knit. Interlock is a double-face construction: two layers of yarn knitted together, which produces a tighter, denser fabric than single-knit pique at the same weight. The practical result for decorators is a flatter, more stable print surface than standard mesh pique, with less fiber show-through on DTF films and less needle deflection risk on left-chest embroidery. The full polyester construction also opens sublimation as a viable route on white and light-colored pieces, which a cotton-blend polo cannot offer.
Embroidery is the primary decoration method for the 8425. The dense double-face interlock holds stitch registration well on the flat chest panel and the flat-knit ribbed collar. A light cut-away or tear-away stabilizer is sufficient given the interlock's structural stability. DTF transfers bond reliably across all 11 colorways at standard polyester transfer settings. For sublimation, route to white or light colors only. The 100% polyester substrate accepts disperse dye fully on white, with solid bright-on-white results. Screen printing with plastisol works on the flat front and back panels, but 100% polyester carries dye migration risk on dark and saturated grounds. Use a low-bleed, low-cure plastisol ink and test for bleed on dark grounds before a full run. DTG is not a practical route on any all-poly substrate.
