The LAT 2616 is a 4.5 oz 100% combed ring-spun cotton fine jersey girls' tee with a longer body length, the girls' counterpart in the LAT family alongside the LAT 6101 youth tee. The combed ring-spun cotton produces a smoother, softer surface than carded open-end cotton, which gives the 2616 better print definition on fine-detail screen work and a retail-feel hand that parents expect on girls' apparel. The longer body length prevents ride-up during activity, which is the primary fit complaint on standard-length girls' tees in youth programs.
The cotton substrate sets the decoration plan. For DTF transfers, the combed ring-spun surface seats transfer film cleanly with good adhesion at standard press settings.
