The Independent Trading Co. PRM3500 is a 9 oz 80/20 cotton/polyester heavyweight pigment-dyed crewneck sweatshirt with a 100% cotton face yarn spun at 30 singles. The pigment dyeing process applies color to the surface of the finished garment rather than penetrating the fiber core, which produces the muted, vintage-washed tones that pigment garments are known for. Because color sits on the surface, shade variation between dye lots is inherent to the process.
