The UltraClub 8541 is a 5.6 oz 60/40 cotton/polyester pique women's polo at 30 singles, the women's contoured counterpart to the UltraClub 8540 men's Whisper Pique Polo. The cotton-first 60/40 blend gives the 8541 a softer, more natural hand than 100% polyester polos while the 40% polyester adds shape retention and wrinkle resistance. At 5.6 oz, the 8541 has more body and structure than lightweight 4.4 oz poly polos, which gives it a more substantial feel that many corporate and hospitality programs prefer.
Embroidery is the primary decoration method on polos. The 5.6 oz cotton-poly pique gives a firm, stable stitch surface for left-chest and sleeve logos. Use a cut-away backing for durability on the pique knit. For DTF transfers, the cotton-poly surface bonds with transfer adhesives, but press at the lower end of the temperature range on coloured garments to prevent dye migration from the 40% polyester.
