Description
The UltraClub 8535 is a men's classic pique polo built from 6.2 oz preshrunk 100% cotton pique. The structured cotton pique face is the trade angle here: it gives a left-chest logo a firm, stable surface to register against, which is why this body works for corporate uniform, hospitality, and staff identification programmes that lead with embroidery. The 6.2 oz weight provides substance through the placket and collar without the bulk of a double-pique.
Embroidery is the primary decoration method for the 8535. The structured cotton pique holds high stitch counts without puckering, and the standard placement is left-chest opposite the placket. Hoop the panel flat with cut-away stabilizer so the pique knit does not draw in under dense fills, and keep registration off the placket and collar seams where the knit changes direction. DTF transfers bond firmly across the colour card. Screen printing works on the flat front panel, but the pique texture breaks fine halftone detail, so bold spot-colour artwork prints cleanest with a white underbase on dark grounds. DTG is viable for bold art on the 100% cotton body, and water-based or discharge inks discharge cleanly on dark grounds for a soft hand. Note the Heather Grey colourway is a 90/10 cotton/polyester blend, which limits full discharge and shifts DTG pretreatment slightly versus the solid cotton colours.
