The Tultex 0240TC is a 3.6 oz women's slim fit tee knit from 65/35 polyester/combed ring-spun USA cotton, 30 singles fine jersey. The poly-majority blend is heat-set to minimize post-decoration shrinkage and gives the fabric a soft, drapey hand lighter than a standard 4.2 oz cotton tee. The slim contoured cut is side-seamed, with a self-fabric crewneck collar, back neck tape, double-needle stitching on sleeves and bottom hem, and a tear-away label. Sizes run XS to 2XL. All 12 colourways, including Black, White, and the full heather range, share the same 65/35 blend. USMCA certified.
Because the fabric is 65% polyester, dye migration is the defining variable for decoration. Screen printing with plastisol on any colourway, including heathers and Black, requires a low-bleed poly-block underbase and moderate cure temperature to prevent the polyester dye from migrating into the ink film during curing. Water-based and discharge inks are not viable on this blend. DTF transfers are the most forgiving method across all 12 colourways and the recommended default for mixed-colour runs. Sublimation works on the White colourway, where the polyester content is high enough to hold disperse dye, though a 65/35 blend will produce slightly less vivid saturation than a 100% poly substrate. DTG output is muted across the poly-heavy range and is generally not a practical primary method on this blank. Vinyl HTV bonds at standard settings; use polyester-safe temperature and pressure on the coloured grounds.
