The Tie-Dye CD1090 is a burnout festival tee in 65/35 polyester-cotton. The burnout process dissolves cotton fibers in a random pattern, leaving a semi-sheer texture that shows the tie-dye pattern through varying opacity. Each shirt is hand-dyed, so no two are identical. This is a specialty blank for festival merch, music event tees, and retail lines where unique, one-of-a-kind character is the selling point.
DTF transfers are the primary decoration method. The film bridges the burnout holes, creating a solid print surface on the semi-sheer fabric. Screen printing works with a lighter ink deposit; heavy plastisol will stiffen the burnout drape and fill the textured holes. Vinyl/HTV adheres to the remaining fabric areas. Embroidery is limited to small logos on denser areas. DTG is not recommended due to the burnout texture and poly-majority blend.
