The Port Authority L540 is a women's Silk Touch performance polo constructed from 4 oz 100% polyester double knit (White is 4.3 oz for increased coverage). The Silk Touch name reflects the refined hand feel of the polyester double knit, which combines a professional appearance with performance-engineered moisture-wicking and snag resistance. PosiCharge technology locks in colour and keeps embroidered logos crisp through repeated laundering.
The self-fabric V-neck johnny collar provides a modern, streamlined neckline. A tag-free label supports relabelling. The performance double knit resists snags, wicks moisture, and maintains colour wash after wash. Sizes run XS-4XL.
For decoration, embroidery is the primary method for performance polos. The structured double knit face holds stitch counts cleanly at left-chest and sleeve placements. DTF transfers bond to the polyester face and block dye migration. Sublimation is viable on white and light grounds given the 100% polyester construction. Screen printing works with poly-block underbase and lower cure to prevent migration. DTG is not practical on 100% polyester.
