Description
The Port Authority G100 is a stretch performance gaiter in 95/5 polyester/spandex with UPF 50+ sun protection and a moisture-wicking finish. The tubular construction pulls over the head and sits on the nose bridge and chin, providing face and neck coverage for outdoor work crews, fishing charters, cycling teams, and branded event giveaways. The stretch spandex blend conforms to a range of face shapes without separate sizing. The 95% polyester face accepts sublimation and heat-applied decoration.
Screen printing on a flat-laid gaiter is the primary decoration method for large-run branded programs. The tubular fabric must be pressed flat on a platen for print registration. Plastisol holds on the polyester face, but poly-block ink is recommended on colored gaiters to prevent dye migration. DTF transfers bond at standard press settings on the polyester face; position the transfer on the flat front panel and press with a Teflon sheet. Sublimation works on the white gaiter for full-color, all-over artwork since the 95% polyester base absorbs sub dye at full saturation; dark colors block sublimation. Embroidery is not recommended because the stretch tubular construction cannot be hooped cleanly.
