The Next Level 6951 is a 4.9 oz women's French terry 3/4-sleeve raglan constructed from 50/50 combed ring-spun cotton/polyester at 30 singles. The lightweight French terry body gives a soft fleece interior without the bulk of a standard sweatshirt, sitting between a tee and a pullover for layering programs, retail merchandise, and fashion-forward event apparel. The 3/4-length raglan sleeves and raw-edge neckline and hem give it a deliberately unfinished aesthetic that consumer-facing merch programs value. Note: Heather Gray is 93/7 cotton/poly, a substantially different blend from the standard 50/50.
The standard 50/50 blend means polyester dye migration is a factor at cure temperature. DTF transfers are the most practical method because the film bonds to the terry face and blocks migration. Screen printing with plastisol needs a poly-blocking underbase and moderate cure on coloured grounds. DTG is possible but the 50% polyester mutes vibrancy compared to cotton-majority blanks. Discharge will not strip polyester dye on the 50/50 colourways. However, Heather Gray at 93/7 is nearly all cotton and accepts discharge, DTG, and water-based methods with much better results than the standard colours.
