The Liberty Bags 8801 is a 600 denier recycled polyester tote measuring 13.75 inches wide by 14.75 inches tall with 28-inch color-matched handles. The 50% recycled polyester construction gives the 8801 a water-resistant surface that sheds light rain and wipes clean, making it a practical choice for outdoor events, farmers markets, and retail bag programs where cotton totes would stain or soak through.
600 denier poly prints differently from cotton sheeting. Screen print with plastisol ink using a lower mesh count (110-156) for better ink deposit on the synthetic weave. Heat transfer vinyl and DTF film bond reliably at standard poly-safe temperatures (below 320F to prevent scorching). Embroidery holds well on the heavier denier without stabilizer on most designs, though dense fills still benefit from a cut-away backing.
