The LAT 6991 is a 4.5 oz Harborside Melange jersey tee constructed from 65/35 polyester/combed ring-spun cotton. The melange yarn construction produces a heathered visual texture across every colourway, giving each shirt a dimensional appearance that solid-dye blanks cannot match. The contrast white cotton twill back neck tape adds a branded detail that retail merchandise programs and fashion-forward event apparel value.
The 65% polyester majority drives the decoration strategy. DTF transfers are the most practical method because the film bonds to the blended face and blocks migration from the dominant polyester content. Screen printing with plastisol needs a poly-blocking underbase and low cure on all colourways. The melange texture also means screen detail sits on an uneven visual surface, so bold spot-colour graphics read better than fine halftones. DTG is possible but the 65% polyester significantly mutes vibrancy. Discharge will not strip polyester dye. Topstitched ribbed collar, flatlock-stitched side seams, double-needle sleeves and bottom hem, and Easytear label complete the construction.
