The LAT 6191LA is a youth Harborside melange tee built from 4.5 oz 65/35 polyester/combed ring-spun cotton melange jersey. Every color in the line is a melange knit where the heathered texture is part of the yarn construction, not a dye treatment. That poly-majority composition runs uniform across all colorways, so there is no blend variation to account for when setting up a multi-color youth order.
The 65/35 poly/cotton blend is lighter and more moisture-friendly than a 100% cotton youth tee, which suits active youth programs and outdoor events. The trade-off is that the polyester majority limits decoration options: discharge and water-based inks will not produce clean results, and DTG prints land with a softer, more muted look than on cotton-first bodies. DTF transfers are the default practical route for this fabric. Topstitched ribbed collar, contrast white cotton twill back neck tape, double-needle sleeves and bottom hem, EasyTear label. Decoration and Printability
DTF transfers are the primary method. The poly-majority melange fabric bonds consistently with heat-applied film, and the melange texture gives printed designs a textured, vintage-look backdrop that appeals to youth brand merch and spirit wear. Screen printers need a poly-block underbase on all colors with moderate cure to prevent dye migration. DTG is possible but limited: the 35% cotton content holds pretreatment, but colors appear softer.
