The J America JA8824 is a 10 oz premium fleece pullover hoodie constructed from 80% ring-spun cotton and 20% polyester. The 80/20 ring-spun blend produces a smoother print surface and softer hand than open-end 50/50 fleece hoodies at the same weight. At 10 oz, this is a heavyweight fleece that sits above most standard hoodies (8-9 oz) in body and warmth. Fashion heather colourways are 9 oz. The jersey-lined hood adds a finished interior detail that separates it from standard fleece-lined hoods.
The 80% ring-spun cotton majority makes this an excellent print substrate. DTF transfers bond firmly to the dense cotton-majority fleece face. Screen printing with plastisol produces bold, high-opacity results with clean detail on the smooth ring-spun surface. DTG prints with standard pretreat, and the 80% cotton produces more vibrant output than 50/50 blanks. Water-based inks work on lighter colourways for a soft-hand finish. Discharge ink reacts on the cotton component of darker colourways. Coverstitching throughout, front pouch pocket, and spandex-blend rib knit cuffs and waistband complete the build.
