The Independent Trading Co. SS4500Z is a midweight full-zip hoodie constructed from 8.5 oz 80/20 cotton/polyester fleece with 100% cotton 20 singles face yarn. The cotton-face construction is the key differentiator: decoration methods that perform best on cotton produce cleaner results on this body than on 50/50 fleece where polyester on the print surface causes migration and muted output. At 8.5 oz this sits between lightweight French Terry and heavyweight 12 oz bodies, hitting the practical sweet spot for year-round decorated hoodies.
A #5 metal kissing zipper runs the full front. The jersey-lined hood with heavy gauge drawcord and metal eyelets gives a clean, finished look. Split-stitch double-needle sewing on all seams adds durability. Twill neck tape, 1x1 ribbing at cuffs and waistband, and front pouch pockets complete the build.
