The Independent Trading Co. EXP54LWZ is a 100% polyester lightweight water-resistant windbreaker with an interior water-resistant coating rated at 600mm waterproof pressure resistance. The single-layer body with mesh-lined 3-panel hood keeps the jacket packable and lightweight while still blocking wind and light rain. For outdoor event staff, coaching windbreakers, and promotional outerwear programs, the EXP54LWZ provides a functional branded layer at $20.73 per piece without the bulk of insulated jackets.
DTF transfers are the primary decoration method because the transfer film bonds to the polyester shell and blocks dye migration. Embroidery works well on the woven polyester shell, which provides a stable stitch surface with enough body to support moderate stitch counts without puckering. Screen printing with plastisol requires a poly-blocking underbase on colored grounds. Sublimation works on white and light colorways since the body is 100% polyester, but the water-resistant coating may affect sublimation penetration. Test on a sample first. Vinyl/HTV applies at polyester-safe temperature.
The zip front closure, scuba neck, welt pockets, elastic cuffs, self neck tape, and tightening toggle at the waistband complete the construction.
