The Hanes W110 is a 5 oz workwear-grade pocket tee engineered for trade, construction, and industrial uniform programs. Unlike standard promotional blanks, the W110 is built with reinforced armhole stitching, extra body and sleeve length, and an oversized pencil-stitch chest pocket sized for tools and pens. The 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend provides durability and moisture management in physically demanding work environments.
For screen printing, the W110's polyester-dominant blend works with standard plastisol inks. Use low-bleed inks on dark colours to prevent polyester dye migration during the cure cycle. The oversized chest pocket restricts standard left-chest print placement, so front prints are typically positioned above or below the pocket, or on the back panel. For DTF heat transfers, the 65/35 blend bonds well with DTF adhesives and the 5 oz fabric is stable under a flat press. Press at 275-285 F. Avoid pressing directly over the pocket seam for clean adhesion. For embroidery, left-chest placements above the pocket are standard for workwear programs. The polyester-dominant fabric holds stitches well with cut-away backing.
