The Hanes 054Y is a 5.2 oz 50/50 cotton/polyester EcoSmart jersey youth polo with a two-button placket, welt collar, and welt cuffs. The EcoSmart blend uses recycled polyester fiber, which is the environmental specification that school uniform programs and district purchasing departments increasingly require when sourcing youth polos. The 50/50 blend provides a comfortable cotton hand with the wrinkle and shrinkage resistance that polyester adds, keeping the polo looking uniform after repeated home laundering.
Embroidery is the primary decoration method on polos. The jersey knit provides a smooth surface for school logos and crest designs on the left chest.
