The Gildan GCP800 is a 6.3 oz unisex polo in 60/40 cotton/polyester CVC piqué with DryBlend moisture-wicking, a three-button placket, flat-knit collar, and side vents. The CVC blend gives a cotton-face hand with polyester moisture management and durability, bridging the gap between pure cotton polos and full polyester performance polos. The DryBlend finish wicks moisture during wear, which corporate uniform programs, hospitality staff, and school dress-code orders value when staff wear polos through a full shift.
Embroidery is the primary decoration method on polos. The 6.3 oz CVC piqué provides body for moderate-to-full stitch density on left chest, right chest, and sleeve placements. DTF transfers bond at standard press settings on the cotton/poly face. Screen printing with plastisol works on the back panel and left chest; poly-block ink or low-bleed formulations are recommended on darker colorways because the 40% polyester content carries dye-migration risk. HTV for names and numbers. DTG is not practical on piqué knit.
