The Gildan G240B is a 6.1 oz preshrunk 100% cotton Ultra Cotton youth long sleeve tee built for school spirit-wear, youth sports layering, and camp programs where durability and cost matter. The heavyweight cotton body holds heavy ink deposit for screen-printed designs and withstands the rough laundering cycles that youth garments endure. The ribbed cuffs keep sleeves in place during activity.
For decorators running youth programs, scale artwork to the smaller youth body. The 100% cotton standard colours take all cotton-friendly methods. Screen printing with plastisol is the primary method for volume youth orders, with white underbase on dark grounds. DTG prints are vibrant on the cotton surface. Water-based and discharge inks produce a soft in-shirt hand. Safety Green and Safety Orange are 50/50 cotton/poly and require a poly-block underbase, will not discharge, and fluorescent dye bleeds under heat. Dark Heather is also 50/50. Sport Grey is 90/10 and Ash is 99/1. CPSIA-compliant tracking label. Tagless neck label.
