The Fruit of the Loom SF45R is a unisex Sofspun jersey crew tee built on 4.7 oz 100% cotton. The Sofspun process produces a softer hand than standard cotton jersey without adding polyester, which keeps the fabric fully compatible with discharge and water-based printing. The contemporary silhouette is slightly fitted through the chest and sleeves, sitting between a relaxed workwear cut and a slim retail fit.
The narrow set-in 1x1 rib collar holds its shape and sits clean at the neckline. Shoulder-to-shoulder taping reinforces the back seam. Double-needle hemmed sleeves and bottom add durability. A tear-away label sits flat on the DTG platen without a tag bump.
For decoration, the cotton solids take DTG pretreat evenly and produce vibrant prints. DTF transfers bond consistently across the full card. Screen printing runs clean with standard plastisol. Athletic Heather is 90/10 cotton/poly with a light poly-block needed. The coloured heathers (Charcoal Heather, Brick Heather, Heather Black, Carolina Heather, Indigo Heather) are 60/40 cotton/poly, requiring poly-block underbase and moderate cure to prevent dye migration.
