The Dyenomite 20BCR is a 5.3 oz 100% preshrunk cotton youth crystal tie dye tee. The crystal tie dye process produces a crackled, shattered-glass pattern across the garment that is distinct from the spiral or bullseye patterns on standard tie dye blanks. Each garment carries natural variation in the dye pattern, which adds to the handmade character but means no two pieces are identical. For camp programs, youth spirit-wear, and retail resale, the pre-dyed crystal pattern eliminates the need for decorators to dye their own blanks.
For decorators, the 100% cotton body takes all cotton-friendly decoration methods. The tie dye background means artwork needs to be bold enough to read against the patterned ground. Screen printing with plastisol and a white underbase on all colours produces the cleanest results since the underbase blocks the pattern from showing through the print. DTG works on the cotton surface with white underbase, though the dye pattern underneath will show through lighter areas of the print. DTF transfers bond consistently. Discharge is not recommended since it would strip the tie dye pattern along with the base colour. Vinyl/HTV works for names and numbers.
