The District DT5300 is a 4.3 oz unisex tank constructed from 100% soft spun cotton at 30 singles. The slightly slimmer body distinguishes it from a standard tubular tank: the silhouette fits closer through the torso without the boxy drop of a basic gym tank, which is why it lands in team spirit programs, run/walk event kits, and promotional giveaway orders where fit and print registration both matter. Self-binding at the neck and armholes eliminates the exposed seam edge you get on cheaper tanks, giving the decorated piece a cleaner finish on the shelf or in a bag.
The cotton substrate determines the decoration strategy. DTF transfers bond directly to the cotton face and are the most practical method across all 13 colorways, including the neons. Screen printing with plastisol works well on the solid cotton colors with standard squeegee pressure and cure; the neon colorways (Neon Pink, Neon Orange, Neon Yellow) are 50/50 cotton/poly, which requires a poly-blocking underbase and lower cure temperature to prevent dye migration into light ink deposits. Heather Gray is 90/10 cotton/poly and White Heather is 98/2 cotton/poly, so both also need a light poly-block underbase when printing with light or white inks. DTG prints cleanly on the solid cotton colors with standard pretreat; route the neon and heather shades to DTF for consistent output. Embroidery on a 4.3 oz tank is moderate: keep stitch counts conservative and use a cut-away stabilizer on the front chest panel.
