The District DT5001 is a 4.5 oz 100% soft spun cotton women's fitted tee at 30 singles, the women's counterpart to the District DT5000 unisex Concert Tee. The DT5001 shares the same soft spun cotton yarn and 30-singles gauge as the DT5000 but in a women's fitted silhouette with a narrower body and shorter sleeves. Soft spun cotton is a continuous-filament yarn process that produces a smoother, less fibrous surface than standard open-end cotton, which gives the Concert Tee its retail-feel hand and makes the 30-singles surface seat DTF film and plastisol with sharper edge definition than a coarser-gauge blank.
The decoration strategy on the DT5001 follows cotton-substrate rules on solid colours. For DTF transfers, the soft spun surface seats transfer film cleanly with excellent adhesion at standard press settings. For screen printing, plastisol prints with sharp holdout on the 30-singles face. The 100% cotton on solid colours carries no dye migration risk, so a poly-blocking underbase is not needed on solids. Neon colours (50/50) and Heathered Charcoal (50/50) carry standard cotton-poly migration risk on the polyester content, so run a poly-block and minimum cure on those colourways.
