The District DM138L is a 4.5 oz women's Perfect Tri racerback tank constructed from 50/25/25 polyester/combed ring-spun cotton/rayon at 32 singles. The tri-blend jersey produces a heathered appearance and a soft, drapey hand that standard 100% cotton or 50/50 tanks do not match. The racerback cut allows full range of shoulder motion and is the standard silhouette for fitness, yoga, and active event merchandise programs.
The 50% polyester in the tri-blend creates dye migration risk that determines the decoration strategy. DTF transfers are the most practical method because the film bonds to the blended face and blocks migration. Screen printing with plastisol needs a poly-blocking underbase and low cure on all colourways. DTG is possible but the 50% polyester mutes vibrancy. Discharge is not viable on a 50% polyester blend. The tri-blend fabric is heat-sensitive, so press time and temperature must be controlled during any heat-applied decoration. 1x1 rib knit neck and armholes, back neck tape, curved hem, and tear-away label complete the construction.
