The ComfortWash by Hanes GDH300 is a unisex garment-dyed tank built on 5.5 oz 100% ring-spun cotton made from sustainably sourced US-grown BCI cotton. The garment-dyed process enzyme-washes each piece after construction, producing a soft broken-in hand from the first wear with a lived-in vintage tone on every colour. A proprietary process minimizes dye migration, but like all garment-dyed blanks, slight tonal variation between pieces and between dye lots is inherent to the process.
The ribbed neckline and armholes hold shape through repeated washing. Twill shoulder-to-shoulder neck tape prevents stretch-out. Double-needle coverstitching throughout and 3/4" hems add durability.
For decoration, the 100% cotton garment-dyed surface is built for soft-hand printing. Water-based and discharge inks produce a tone-on-tone vintage look that blends into the garment-dyed ground. DTG prints are vibrant on lighter shades and need a white underbase on deep grounds. DTF transfers bond consistently across the full colour card. Screen printing with plastisol runs clean with a white underbase on dark grounds.
