Description

Bella+Canvas 3001C. 4.2 oz/yd² Airlume combed and ringspun 100% cotton. Solid colors are 100% cotton. Heather and athletic heather colorways are a cotton/polyester blend; exact ratio varies by colorway. Airlume is Bella+Canvas's own yarn specification: short fibers and surface fuzz are combed out before spinning. The resulting yarn is tighter and pill-resistant with a smooth face. Side-seamed construction, shoulder-to-shoulder taping, tear-away label. Unisex crew neck. XS through 3XL, 100+ colorways.

Retail silhouette with a slight taper through the torso. Hits at the hip. Runs slightly slim in the shoulders and chest compared to a traditional unisex cut. Size up one for full-front DTF work on S and M — the taper affects placement at smaller sizes. Shoulder-to-shoulder width is the most reliable sizing reference for fit decisions across a full size run.

DTF at 320–330°F, 5–7 seconds, medium pressure. Smooth ringspun face gives adhesive a clean bond. Fine-line and photo-quality prints come out sharp. No pre-treatment required on solid colors. Use a Teflon sheet when pressing heather and poly-blend colorways. Gang sheet jobs work cleanly; 4.2 oz fabric holds flat under the platen without bunching.

Screen printing: solid-color 3001Cs take water-based and plastisol inks well. The tight cotton face shows discharge and soft-hand finishes cleanly. Embroidery is workable on this blank; backing is recommended for anything larger than a small left-chest logo at this fabric weight.

Cold wash, tumble dry low for DTF transfer longevity. Hot wash degrades adhesive faster on any blank. Color depth is consistent across solid colorways. Dye-lot consistency is reliable within the same production season. Mid-season reorders may not match earlier batches. Order enough to cover the full run.

True Black and White are consistent across high-volume orders. For the same cut in heather colorways on a CVC cotton/polyester blend, use the 3001CVC. Youth sizing: 3001B. For a heavier classic-body blank, compare with the Gildan G500 at 5.3 oz/yd².

Both apply DTF cleanly. The G500 is 5.3 oz/yd2 classic-fit preshrunk cotton with a tubular body — heavier and more structured. The 3001C is 4.2 oz/yd2 combed ringspun cotton with a side-seamed retail fit — softer and thinner. For DTF on a retail-feel blank, the 3001C is preferred. For durability, volume, and cost per unit, the G500 is the standard choice.

No. Bella+Canvas manufactures in Mexico and other WRAP-certified international facilities. The 3001C is not a Made in USA product.
Only on polyester-blend heather colorways. Solid colors are 100% cotton and do not accept dye sublimation. For all-over sublimation, use a 100% polyester blank. For DTF on a retail-feel solid-color tee, the 3001C is the correct choice.
