The Augusta Sportswear 1790 is a women's NexGen wicking tee constructed from 3.4 oz 100% polyester wicking knit with Color Secure technology. The Color Secure treatment helps prevent dye migration during heat-based decoration, a common problem on polyester garments where sublimation dyes in the fabric ghost through printed or transferred graphics. This makes the 1790 more forgiving for DTF and screen work than untreated polyester bodies.
The moisture-management knit pulls sweat away from the skin and spreads it across the polyester face for faster evaporation, keeping athletes and staff cooler during activity. The self-fabric V-neck collar sits clean and comfortable. Set-in sleeves and double-needle stitched sleeves and bottom add durability. The non-branded tagless label removes cleanly for relabelling.
For decoration, DTF transfers are the primary method, bonding consistently to the polyester face across all colours. The Color Secure treatment reduces but does not eliminate migration risk, so a poly-block underbase and lower cure temperature remain best practice for screen printing on dark and saturated colours. Sublimation works on light-coloured polyester (White, Power Blue) for full-coverage all-over prints. DTG is not recommended on 100% polyester. Embroidery works at moderate stitch count for left-chest placement.
