Close the zipper before loading and tuck the pull inside the collar to prevent the metal hardware from scratching the platen surface or creating a pressure point under the transfer.

Left-chest embroidery on a full-zip hoodie requires a backing choice that accounts for the zipper proximity. If the design sits within 1.5 inches of the zipper tape, the hoop tension can pull the tape out of alignment during stitching.
